Monday, August 30, 2021 | Sevierville Golf Club

Official Rules: 18 Hole | Four-Person Scramble

USGA RULES will govern all play except where modified by the following local tournament rules. All local rules apply as indicated on the scorecard.

Section 1. Rules of Play

Scramble Format - All four members of the team shall hit one tee shot on every hole. The team then selects one tee shot and continues play from that point. This procedure is repeated until the ball is holed out.

Place ball within one club length (no closer to the hole) of the marked spot. Putts need to be made within 2 inches of the marked spot (no closer to the hole). The first ball to go in the hole is counted for the team score.

If the ball you choose to play is in a fairway, penalty area, bunker, or the rough, then all balls must be played from the same condition within one club length of the chosen ball.

  1. 64 and under will play the Green Markers 6,030 yards
  2. 65 and older will play the White Tee Markers 5,471 yards
  3. Ladies will play from the Red Tee Markers at 4,967 yards
  4. There is an automatic 2-putt rule: Amateur teams will have a maximum of 2 putts on each hole. Once the ball in play is being played from the putting surface each player on the team has a chance to make the first putt. If no player on the team makes the putt from the original position the hole is over and the team will score as if the second putt was holed.
  5. All players should conduct themselves in a disciplined manner, demonstrating courtesy and sportsmanship at all times, irrespective of how competitive they may be.
  6. In the event of rulings while on the course, play a second ball as well as the original ball, recording a score for both balls. Then after the round is completed, consult with Kristin Volentine, Head Golf Professional, at Sevierville Golf Club for a final ruling.
  7. INCLEMENT WEATHER: Play will continue until you are notified otherwise by the signal horn.
