Covid-19

Our world is a different place now. All of us are working to safely adapt and thrive amid the constraints and guidelines necessary to slow the spread of the coronavirus. We hope that you are staying safe and healthy.

Even as COVID-19 has challenged us all to find new ways of working and living, the other health care needs of our community have not stopped. Some of our friends and neighbors are still battling cancer, strokes, and other devastating illnesses. Babies are still being born. People are still learning to walk and talk again after traumatic brain injuries. And we are committed to helping them recover with your support.

Within the confines of current CDC and health department guidelines, we are so looking forward to inviting you to join us in making a difference in the health of our communities. We have had to cancel and/or postpone several events this spring and summer, and fund raising revenue for our hospitals and health care services has suffered. Now, we are excited to be planning for both outdoor and indoor fundraising events to begin. Our outdoor golf tournaments and 5k runs are moving forward, as are fall indoor events such as the Morristown-Hamblen gala and Peninsula’s Artsclamation! fine art sale. All are being structured with a strong overlay of safety and flexibility.

We need the support of our volunteers, sponsors and communities to be successful and we pledge to offer you a safe way to partner with us.

Benefiting the patients and families of Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System.

Morristown-Hamblen Hospital Foundation presents the 2020 Gala. Proceeds from this event allow the foundation to support continuing professional education, program development and medical equipment needs at the hospital. As the only hospital in the Lakeway area, Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System provides excellent care to residents throughout the eight-county service area and offers comprehensive cancer care, heart, lung, and vascular care, women’s services, general surgery, orthopedics, emergency treatment, and critical care.

For more than 120 years, the hospital has embodied a culture of patient-centered care. This remains true today, as each employee commits to upholding our Pledge of Excellence to put our patients first, strive for excellence, and make our hospital the first and best choice for healthcare needs in our community.

Thank you for your continued support and generosity.
