Volunteering

It takes hundreds of volunteers to help with all the different aspects of the race. Needless to say that our volunteers make up the heart and engine behind the race day activities. With the help of our volunteers we are able to host a fun and exciting event that raises funds to benefit the patients and families of Thompson Cancer Survival Center. Our volunteers truly have a direct impact on our community and have a great time in the process!

Contact Nicole Taylor, Special Events Manager at Office: 865-531-5205 or email raceagainstcancer@covhlth.com with subject heading “Volunteer Information”.

People choose to volunteer for a variety of reasons. For some it offers the chance to give something back to the community or make a difference to the people around them. For others it provides an opportunity to develop new skills or build on existing experience and knowledge. It's also a great way to earn service hours for students. Regardless of the motivation, what unites them all is that they find it both challenging
